Description

This Nash Metropolitan is my dream car and I have to sell it! Sad as that is, I’m hoping you will appreciate the car as much as I do. This is a NO RUST vehicle and has always been housed. Winter’s coming and it is in it’s winter barn, covered (see photos) and has been treated like a baby. I have had much work done to it (see below) and the winner will receive the receipts and documentation as well as a box of old parts among them a speedometer. A Shop Manual will also be included which has comprehensive diagrams for working on the car. The convertible top is new and I have the old one. You'll see a tiny rip in the cover for the cover of the convertible.
This Metropolitan, known internally as Series IV, is an early example of the model's final version. Unlike prior series, this car is fitted with window vents and a trunk lid, which greatly improved access to the trunk.
I highly recommend Metropolitan Restoration Service for parts, extreme knowledge and good conversation. I will also be including several years of the Met Gazette and encourage you to join the Metropolitan Club ( It is THE source for learning more about the Metropolitan.
For what is wrong with the car, the radio doesn’t work, the odometer isn’t working, either, but the rest of the car runs smoothly.
For shipping. I recommend:
